GoldAxis Wallet Transition

GoldAxis Wallet Transition Guide

Temporary transfer of digital assets to independent self-custody wallets

Asia Broadband and GoldAxis are transitioning the GoldAxis Wallet to a new technology and service provider. During this transition period, GoldAxis Wallet users are strongly encouraged to transfer their digital assets to a newly created independent self-custody wallet and maintain them there until additional official transition instructions are released.

CRITICAL SECURITY WARNING

GoldAxis, Asia Broadband and their representatives will never ask for your seed phrase, recovery phrase, private key, PIN or wallet password. Never provide this information to anyone claiming to assist with the transition.

BEFORE YOU START

1. Verified Algorand Asset IDs

When adding AABBG or AABBS to a new Algorand wallet, verify the asset by its unique Algorand Asset ID. Do not rely only on the token name or symbol.

2. Use Only These Verified Wallet Download Sources

Do not search Google, social media, Telegram, WhatsApp or app-store advertisements for wallet download links. Use the verified links below.

Pera Wallet and Exodus are independent third-party providers and are not owned, operated or controlled by Asia Broadband Inc. or GoldAxis. References to these wallets are provided as examples of compatible independent self-custody wallets.

3. Make an Inventory Before Moving Anything

Open GoldAxis and record each asset before starting. For each asset, keep a record of:

Never record a recovery phrase or private key in this worksheet.

4. Create a New Pera Wallet for AABBG, AABBS and ALGO

  1. Install Pera using one of the verified links above.
  2. Create a new wallet/account.
  3. Securely write down the new recovery phrase exactly as Pera displays it.
  4. Do not photograph, screenshot, email, text or share the recovery phrase.
  5. Enable available device security such as PIN or biometric protection.
  6. Copy your new Algorand receiving address.

For this transition, GoldAxis recommends transferring assets into newly generated wallet credentials rather than providing or sharing the existing GoldAxis recovery phrase.

5. Fund the New Pera Account With a Small Amount of ALGO

  1. In Pera, copy the receiving address for the newly created Algorand account.
  2. In GoldAxis, open ALGO and select Send.
  3. Paste the Pera address. Do not manually type it.
  4. Compare the beginning and ending characters of the address.
  5. Send a small test amount of ALGO.
  6. Wait until the test transfer appears in Pera.
Do not transfer all of your ALGO at this stage.

ALGO is required for Algorand network fees and account/asset requirements. Keep sufficient ALGO available in GoldAxis until AABBG and AABBS transfers are complete.

6. Add AABBG and AABBS to Pera

Use Pera's asset management or add-asset function and verify each token by its Asset ID:

Complete any required Algorand asset opt-in procedure before attempting to receive the token.

Do not rely only on the token name or ticker. The unique ASA ID is the identifying reference.

7. Transfer AABBG

  1. Confirm AABBG is enabled in the new Pera account and shows ASA ID 1136160962.
  2. Copy the new Pera Algorand address.
  3. In GoldAxis, open AABBG and select Send.
  4. Paste and verify the Pera address.
  5. Send a small test amount.
  6. Wait for confirmation and verify that AABBG appears in Pera.
  7. Only after successful verification, transfer the remaining desired AABBG balance.
  8. Save the transaction ID for your records.

8. Transfer AABBS

  1. Confirm AABBS is enabled in the new Pera account and shows ASA ID 3424056392.
  2. Copy the new Pera Algorand address.
  3. In GoldAxis, open AABBS and select Send.
  4. Paste and verify the Pera address.
  5. Send a small test amount.
  6. Wait for confirmation and verify that AABBS appears in Pera.
  7. Only after successful verification, transfer the remaining desired AABBS balance.
  8. Save the transaction ID for your records.

9. Transfer Remaining Available ALGO Last

Recommended Algorand sequence: small ALGO test - AABBG - AABBS - remaining available ALGO.

After confirming that AABBG and AABBS have arrived in Pera, transfer the remaining available ALGO balance. Do not attempt to bypass any minimum-balance or transaction requirement displayed by the wallet.

10. Create a New Exodus Wallet for BTC, ETH and Other Compatible Assets

  1. Install Exodus using only the verified links above.
  2. Create a new wallet.
  3. Complete Exodus backup and securely record the new recovery information.
  4. Never provide the Exodus recovery information to GoldAxis, Asia Broadband, Exodus Support or any other person.
  5. Before receiving an asset, confirm Exodus supports both the asset and the exact blockchain network being used.

11. Transfer Bitcoin - BTC

  1. In Exodus, open Bitcoin - BTC and select Receive.
  2. Copy the Bitcoin receiving address.
  3. In GoldAxis, open BTC and select Send.
  4. Paste and verify the Exodus BTC address.
  5. Send a small test transaction first.
  6. Wait for the transaction to appear in Exodus and obtain blockchain confirmation.
  7. After successful verification, transfer the remaining desired BTC balance.
  8. Save the transaction ID.

12. Transfer Ethereum - ETH

  1. In Exodus, open Ethereum - ETH and select Receive.
  2. Confirm you are using the intended Ethereum network.
  3. Copy the receiving address.
  4. In GoldAxis, open ETH and select Send.
  5. Paste and verify the receiving address and network.
  6. Send a small test transaction.
  7. Confirm receipt in Exodus.
  8. Transfer the remaining desired ETH balance and save the transaction ID.

13. USDC, USDT and Other Multichain Assets

The asset symbol alone is not enough.

USDC, USDT and other assets can exist on multiple blockchains. The sending network and receiving network must match.

  1. Identify the blockchain/network used by the asset in GoldAxis.
  2. Confirm that Exodus or your selected receiving wallet supports that exact asset on that exact network.
  3. Open the corresponding asset and network in the receiving wallet.
  4. Copy the correct receiving address.
  5. Verify the network again before sending.
  6. Send a small test transaction.
  7. Confirm receipt before transferring the remaining desired balance.

If you cannot positively identify the network or compatible receiving address, do not send the asset. Contact official GoldAxis support first.

14. Verify the Entire Migration

Do not treat a "sent" status as proof that migration is complete. Open the destination wallet and independently verify every applicable balance.

Compare destination balances with your original inventory, allowing for legitimate blockchain transaction fees.

15. Keep the Existing GoldAxis Wallet and Records

After assets have been transferred, retain access to your existing GoldAxis Wallet, recovery information and transaction records during the transition period.

Do not prematurely delete the application, destroy wallet records or erase recovery information. Existing records may be needed to review transaction history, prior addresses or completed transfers.

16. Scam and Phishing Protection

Be suspicious of anyone contacting you through Telegram, WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger, X/Twitter, Discord, unsolicited email or text message claiming to provide migration assistance.

17. When the New GoldAxis Wallet Is Ready

Asia Broadband and GoldAxis will issue separate official instructions when the new GoldAxis Wallet infrastructure and service provider transition are complete.

Do not transfer assets back to GoldAxis solely because of an email, direct message, social-media post or third-party website.

Wait for an official announcement published through verified Asia Broadband and GoldAxis channels.
